Business Intelligence Compendium users
The business intelligence compendium is a free knowledge compendium on business intelligence maintained by business intelligence experts. Since each page is linked to all users that have contributed this page, the compendium can help you in finding experts for the topics in business intelligence that interest you.
Additionally each users maintains a 'user page' (see sample here) which gives you more information about his past experiences, skills and interests.
How to find the right BI expert?
- Use our yellow pages, constructed using predefined categorizations inserted on the user pages
- Search the user pages using the standard Wiki search functionality
- Find the topic you are interested in and then check the contributors to this topic.
Yellow pages
Users are classified using a pre-defined hierarchical category structure. The category tags are inserted into the users' user page.
The following category structure is currently active.
- The category 'Users per Country' lists out users per country of activity.
- The category 'Users per BI role' lists out users per BI role they have covered during the last few years.
- BI project manager
- ETL specialist
- BI Data Modeler

- The category 'Users per technology' lists out users per technology they master.
- This category lists out users per 'membership level'.
Search the wiki
To quickly search the User pages, follow this link. Type in your search term and limit your search to the 'User' namespace.
Starting from content
Search for an article that matches your topic of interest. Click on the tab 'History' on the top of your screen. You'll see a list of all contributions done by different users. By clicking on the user name you can navigate directly to his user page.
