The Business Intelligence Compendium strives to be a free knowledge base with in depth information regarding all aspects of business intelligence. In order to obtain a sufficient level of professional depth the Compendium depends on BI professionals' contributions, who in return can use the compendium as a free means of publicity.
Objective 1: Free, in depth, knowledge base about business intelligence
First of all the Business Intelligence Compendium is freely available for every one who is looking for business intelligence resources.
Secondly it strives to be a knowledge base with correct information. These resources that belong on the business intelligence compendium can take many forms. They might be definitions and explanations of terminology, product or vendor reviews, “how to” descriptions, biographies and CV's of competent resources. Whatever content is served it must be commonly agreed upon. This platform is not the place for personal views, but intends to consolidate all contributor views into a single knowledge base on business intelligence.
Finally we want to offer in depth information. In order to achieve a level of knowledge the Business Intelligence Compendium depends on the contribution of passionate business intelligence professionals rather.
